PANEL: Public Lands Power Half-Hour
Saturday June 14, 2025 2:00pm - 2:30pm PDT
Ever wondered how your favorite MTB trails, rivers, and hiking spots are protected—or why some aren’t? Join us for Public Lands Power Half-Hour, an interactive crash course on public lands and community action.
We’ll break down:
  • What’s public land, and why does it matter? (Hint: You probably play on it all the time.)
  • How these places get protected—and who’s behind the scenes (nonprofits, tribes, donors, and everyday advocates like you).
  • Why this work is urgent—from climate resilience to community health and outdoor equity.
  • How you can take a stand for public lands—because mountain bikers aren’t just visitors, we’re stewards of these special places.
Whether you’re a weekend warrior, a seasoned advocate, or just public-land curious, this session will leave you fired up and ready to make an impact.
